The Timothy Project is a structured 5-phase journey that takes you from being called to multiplying disciples.

What is The Timothy Project?

The Timothy Project is named after the young disciple Timothy, whom the Apostle Paul mentored with the words: "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others." — 2 Timothy 2:2

This programme is built on that same model — intentional, relational, and reproducible discipleship that multiplies across generations.

The Five Phases

Each phase represents a shift in ownership — from watching, to helping, to leading, to multiplying.

Phase 1: Become

Called — I do, you watch

You observe your mentor living out faith. You're learning what it looks like before you try it yourself.

Phase 2: Belong

Rooted — I do, you help

You begin participating alongside your mentor. You're finding your footing and building confidence.

Phase 3: Believe

Equipped — You do, I help

You take the lead while your mentor supports. You're growing in ownership and responsibility.

Phase 4: Behave

Serving — You do, I watch

You're operating independently. Your mentor is present but stepping back, watching you flourish.

Phase 5: Beyond

Multiplying — You do, someone else watches

You become the mentor. The cycle continues as you pour into the next generation of disciples.

Discipleship doesn't happen in a classroom — it happens in life. The Timothy Project pairs each student with a mentor who walks alongside them personally.

Marker-Oriented Growth

Each phase has clear, measurable markers. Progress is tracked, celebrated, and built upon — so no one gets lost or left behind.

We're not after performance. We're after transformation. Every step forward — no matter how small — is worth celebrating.

How It Works

Create your account and you'll be placed in Phase 1. Your admin will assign you a mentor.

Meet with your Mentor

Your mentor schedules regular catch-ups with you. They're your guide, encourager, and accountability partner.

Complete your Markers

Each phase has a set of markers — practical, spiritual, and relational. Log your progress as you go.

Submit for Approval

When you've completed a marker, submit it. Your mentor reviews and approves it before you move on.

Advance through Phases

Once all markers in a phase are approved, your admin promotes you to the next phase. Keep going!

Become a Mentor

By Phase 5, you're ready to pour into someone else. The cycle of discipleship continues.
